About

Hi, I'm Dolly! moved from NYC to Los Angeles in October 2019 to pursue my career in entertainment, but when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, I turned to baking and made my first-ever braided challah. After posting about the challah on Instagram, people started asking if they could buy themselves one of the "Challah Dolly" loaves.

After 10 months in LA, I made the return to my native New York City, and Challah Dolly came with, in hopes of turning challah bread into an Internet darling on a mission to make Jewish tradition “cool," modern, and accessible. It's been so incredible watching this project grow and my favorite part has been meeting so many amazing new people along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support and for loving this bread - it truuuuuuly wouldn't be what it is without you.

You can purchase Challah Dolly online, or around at one of our retail partners on the East Coast. See here for retailers.

Notable Press includes write ups in Forbes, The New YorkerTime Out New York, The Times of Israel, The Nosher, and Upper East Side Patch. Challah Dolly’s logo was designed by LA-based branding house Schram Studio.
